Dan,
Just out of sheer curiosity where do you get all these specific statistics
from? I myself can't even seem to work out a back-of-the-envelope
order-of-magnitude assessment of these things that I would be confident
asserting. For instance, 300 subroutines? Don't you think that depends
rather heavily on the design methodology and implementation language? Then
30% to 50% more to reach professional 1 dan. Now, wouldn't that depend a
lot on the algorithms being used? etc.
There's nothing wrong with trying to guess these things. It's a fun game.
It's just more fun if you have reasons for guessing as you do.
