1. I'm operating under the idea that I'm going to release an infrastructure
to help in programming go. (This week...) Now there's jago that is being
submitted to GNU... but the messages say "OpenGo"... I've already put out
information on "OpenGo", got a website and documentation using that name,
it'll be copyright/left with that name, asked Weiman Xiao who coined the name
if it was ok with him, and I'd rather not go about changing the name at this
point: SO, can the jago/gnu effort please use another name?
2. I like sharing source code. But I also would like to leave open the
possibility
of making some money off *our* efforts. So the GPL isn't quite right for that.
It guarantees the distribution right and right to copy source code, but doesn't
much protect a programmers direct economic benefit. Anyway, I want to take
the discussions of GPL offline if possible (email me). I'm trying to put
together
a license that works. I'm also trying to release the dang thing... If push
comes
to shove I'll release it under GPL by weeks end.
