That's a nice table. Now, clearly the number of states
of +-1 stone is still enough for ordinary people to take
into account when *they* are doing the pruning. Hence, it
has to be that very many of these very quickly diverge into
a state with +-N stones, which is a very undesirable situation. :)
So, how many of the +-1 states still remain a +-1 state after
one or two moves has been performed? Hopefully, the picture
would look different then.
(Actually, my guess is that a statistical analysis of such kind
will reveal 'good shape', in the sense of patterns that
are stable to small changes.)
