computer-go: OFF TOPIC THREADS ?

Hello,

 I am finding that  some of the recent threads 
have diverged from what is directly related to computer go
(at least in my ever so humble opinion).

Whilst very interesting if you are in the mood ,
some of the Silicon vs. Meat arguments could move
to a philosphy mailing list ?
