If your program runs on Linux kernel 2.0.* in text mode (as gnugo did)
you can take a look at http://www.webarna.es/~joan/linux
It's a Linux distribution on a floppy, it works on a 386 with 8Mb,
and that floppy is what I used in 99'EGC for The Turtle.
I assume the PC will be better than that ( P/150 ?)
You don't need to install nothing, and the kernel supports the file-
system, so you can use the HD if you want. Just put the floppy and
boot ... as in the old times :-)
