Re: computer-go: Proposal for an electronic journal of computer go

Sometime ago there was a discussion about founding a computer go magazine.
I just got the following information that can be found on:

http://www.dcs.qmw.ac.uk/~icca/journal.htm

>>>>
For many years, the ICCA Journal has occasionally included articles on games other than chess. This has included Backgammon, Othello, Chinese Chess, Shogi, Go, and fundamental issues affecting the programming of all such games. To reflect this increasing interest in other games, the Journal will change its name to the ICGA Journal from Vol.23 No.1 (the first issue of 2000).

This means there is allready a suitable forum for scientific papers about
computer go.

Sooner or later there is not much new to be written on most of the other
games. At that moment the ICGA may consider to change their name again making
the G stand for Go instead of games.....
