Re: computer-go: Games, games, games

I'm working on -for lack of a better term- an "instance based" Go
program, and I need example games. I have been looking around and
searching, and found some stuff (like the GnuGo games, gg63-gg4.tar)
but I need more (much more :) ).

I thought there were archives of the Internet Go Servers, but I've not
been able to find them.
You can find a lot of games on the IGS (igs.joyjoy.net). Try
ftp://www.joy.ne.jp/welcome/igs/Go
In the README file there you can find exactly where you can download the
games from.
What approach did you try for your program to learn from replaying games?
