Re: computer-go: proof

There seems to be a small language problem.

annotating is commenting or annalysing, not recording the game.

in the go world the world annotate is not used.

It is probably so that chess players like Kasparov know
a greater percentage of what you can know about chess than
the top go players know about their game. Go is just more
difficult. It is so difficult that though it is in theory a
game of full information, in practice it is not. This makes
the comment/annotation of go games allways a little vague.

It also makes that slightly different skills are required for
the go player and the chess player. The go player has to be
able to handle uncertaincy, maybe in the same sense as bridge
players.

This also has implication for programming of go: a go program
has to deal with probabilities.
