computer-go: Migrating GNU Go 2.6 From C to Java2

Hi speek,
Thanks for your question and intrest.
Now we have java GO server (
http://www.topgoer.com/aigo/javago20server.jar ) and
  java GO client ( http://www.topgoer.com/aigo/javago20client.jar )
you can uncompress them with jar or winzip, (e.g. jar xf
javgo20client.jar )

You can see the screen-shot of this GO client from
http://www.topgoer.com/aigo/javago.html

We also have the API for outside computer-go programs which can be connected
to server as a computer-go player. (
http://www.topgoer.com/aigo/apidoc.html )

you can test above mentioned go server, client and example computer-go
program (include example source code) on your local machine or connect to
our web server www.topgoer.com.
the usage:
to run go server: java -jar server.jar
to run run go client: java -jar client.jar -l lang.en ( English)
                                       java -jar client.jar (Chinese)
to add computer-go program to server: java aiClientExample

If someone can migrate GNU Go from C to Java2, It's very easy to connect GNU
Go to our Go server so other human players can challenge GNU Go at same
time. and the most important, If GNU Go has java version (of course, open
source ), it will encourage more developers to improve GNU Go.

We have translated the gnugo2.6 document to Chinese. Hope it's helpful to
some people.

Are you looking for an exact port of GNU Go? In other words, do want this
Java version to be a command line game that can serve as a backend to cgoban
or other front-end gui's? Or, do you want a front-end provided too?
Also, are you just looking for GO, written in Java, and are figuring this is
the cheapest, fastest approach, or do you specifically like the way GnuGo
plays GO?
