computer-go: vectors

I have been following the discussion here for some while.
And I can see that one of the biggest subject is how to make a program play a local move which serve a global purpose !!

And there are some different models for how to calculate the value of a local move !

But what about the global strategi ?
Which models should be used to calculate this ?

How about this:
The influence of a move is not only given by a influence on the surrounding places (speed),
but also by a direction on the influence !!! (Vectors=speed & direction)

Then make a Fuzzy Logic program that will look at the different type of vectors making a decision in which direction to play.
Hereafter you can find the local move which will serve this direction play best !!

For every point on the board, there will be 2 vectors: one for black and one for white !!
The overall score will decide if the program should use a developing strategi or safety making strategi

By the way the vectors are pointing and the size of the vectors for black and white, it should be posible to determine the strategi to play.
