Or it would suffice to send this score only when u pass...
I see, if I pass AND send a score I am protected against Tromp/Taylor
end game scoring which might not be valid on an early pass. But if I
pass without sending a score and the opponent does too, then endgame
scoring applies. This is nice and simple and in the spirit of
the Tromp/Taylor ruleset.
The main advantage of early agreement is that we can publish the game
records of computer matches without the extra 30 or so dead stone
capturing moves, which will make them more appealing for human
consumption.
Yes, I see value in having this agreement phase too.
