The fees for the competition seem prohibitively
expensive to me. There is not a lot of money to be
made in Computer Go - everyone is an amateur in my
book - it's just that some folks are more dedicated
than others. 
Professional should be "My Go program is my sole
source of income and allows me to maintain a second
home in the Bahamas" :-)
If all the "professional" programs stay home - any
title
won at this tourney will be meaningless.

My .02 cents (US, Euro - take your pick)
