Re: computer-go: SGF specs

Nick:

Thanks to you and many others in steering me toward sgf spec. At first glance, the handling of variations is not clear. I will study more. (I prefer the VAR and ENDVAR used in the .go file format. XML like.)

I thought my old (1990?) go program could be given Historical Monument status or something; in honor of its pioneering role..... The replacement is a long way off!

Thank again... Tris...

There's something at http://www.red-bean.com/sgf/

By the way - the page http://www.britgo.org/gopcres/gopcres1.html stills
lists an ancient version of your Go-playing program. You might want to
have it removed, or replaced by something more up to date.
