I didn't think suicide was legal under Chinese rules, just Ing.

One possible use for this is In a ko fight. You could add a third stone to commit suicide inside of an enemy group's single eye. The opponent must now choose between bringing the previously dead group back to life (by moving on the middle point to make two separate eyes) or taking the ko.
