Re: computer-go: IGS games (was: Recorded games with dead stonesmarked)

If you can't I'll publish them with my P2P client when I download the files. I'll keep you informed.

Toni.

Ja.
The current server is only a temporary solution. I can't have it running
for a long time and will shut it down as soon as the majority has
downloaded the files.

Is there anyone having access to a public ftp server, where we can store
the files? Sizes are about 430 MB igs, 420 MB kgs and 150 MB nngs.

P2P is a good idea, but not an option for me, since I don't have a pc,
that I can use for that.

Hello,

Perphaps it could be a good idea that you put a big file with the
games shared with a P2P program (like Overnet). This way we won't use
too much your DSL link, our downloading rates will be faster and we
won't depend on your computer for downloading some chunks of the file.

Thanks for the compilation.

Thanks for the games.

Hi,

some people asked for the IGS games, so I decided to make them available
for download on my test server. It hangs on a DSL link, so be patient
(and send a short mail if I forgot to start it after reboot):

http://ayfx.yi.org:9999/

On the server you'll find
the IGS games from 1992 to March 1996 (unpacked and compress with bzip2
to save traffic),
some KGS files William Shubert sent me (David Goh: that's all I have -
ask William for more)
and my downloads of NNGS games (1995 'til some days ago).

A few of you asked if it is possible to get the data on a bunch of CDs.
No problem - if you pay the postal charges :-)

Greetings

Guido
