Global doesn't  mean full width brute  force.

The term "global search"  means "not local" and  is based on searching
the whole board.   At least that's what I've assumed all along. 

I  don't know  for sure  what Chrilly  has in  mind, but  I  assume he
expects to do a signficant amount  of move pruning if he proceeds with
his project.
