Since ladder participants are all over the place, matches are typically played on one of the go servers, with moves being relayed by hand for those programs without a server interface (i.e. most programs).

I have placed Orego at the bottom of the 9x9 ladder. When you're ready, you need to contact the next program up the ladder (David Elsdon's GL7) and arrange a match date/time on a go server.

You should peruse the go ladder page for other ladder minutiae and to make sure that I have your and Orego's info correct.
