Proper on the internet and on your own web site? Absolutely. You should 
only
do the things that are OK from your perspective. But if you desire to 
publish in
a journal they may want more. The only way to find out would be to 
submit the
paper. But it does not sound like that is your goal, so it should not 
be a problem.
