I agree 100%. I spend lots of time folding laudry and watching TV while my
CPU tries my new techniques.

One problem with using all possible resources is that improving and tuning
program becomes more difficult (as it is slower.) When the algorithms are
mainly heuristical and changing constantly, this is a major factor.
