I fully agree with that.
Especially in Go.
And now you have exposed the *real* reason why patterns are limited: They do
not take into account that a 9p is a very low rank compared to future Go
programs, and any 9p-level statistical correlation is pure garbage for 20p
Go programs.

This is a built-in flaw that makes patterns just about useless for programs
above around 12p.

Of course I will be long dead at that time.
