RE: [computer-go] Pattern Matcher
Perfect play is when black can win 100% against white. When "they" notice
that black is winning too high a % of games, they raise the value of
komi. This makes old patterns less than satisfactory. As a kyu level
player, an extra point or 2 in komi doesn't effect my play strategy, but
for pro players who can score the game midway through, this does have a
large effect.
