Hmmm... Maybe you understand I'm not going to give you the source-code to
Goliath?

Done something wrong? By translating an existing C program to Java I must
have done something wrong because the Java version runs too fast? A program
that I spent years optimizing and fine-tuning for C!

But here's a thought: when I publish the pattern-matcher in Java, you can
try to make it run 3 times faster in C. Seems fair no?
