I intended the sentence as above. At the time I wrote it there were
lots of comments about how it could not work because it was not
optimal, it was not moving for the right reasons, and about how
incomplete the information was. My point was and remains: for whatever
reason, and with whatever drawbacks, SlugGo plays 4 or 5 stones
stronger than the base GNU Go code.
I'll answer Mark's email in more detail in another posting.
