Right, it doesn't - but kgsGtp does.  This is a KGS-client program for 
use by bots.  There is some information on these pages:

Right.   But these options are in kgsGtp.  See 'open' and 'opponent' in 
the second of the URLs above.

Unfortunately, kgsGtp runs only on Linux, Mac, and Windows.  I don't 
know whether David Doshay is able to get SlugGo to communicate via 
something running one of these.
