I am actively developing a Go program that is not available anywhere.
I also have a program you can purchase for the palm handhelds called
"Ogo." Ogo is a monte carlo style type of program and easily beats
the other palm Go programs. The PC version can beat GnuGo once in a
while (about 10% of the time with no handicap) on 9x9 using similar
time controls.
Like Peter, I believe in global search.

A couple of things I've been wondering about this mailing list:
- how many people are subscribed to the list? I imagine that someone
has
easy access to this number.
- how many on the list are actively (say, within the last 6 months)
involved
in developing a computer Go program? I imagine the only way to figure
this
out is by a 'show of hands'. I'll kick it off by raising my hand.
BTW, I hereby claim the name GONZO for my program :-)
cheers,
Peter (who believes in search, and global search at that)
