I'm not involved with a commercial Go program but... 

It's not clear what you mean by "95% solid" (it crashes 5%?  it gives
wrong answer 5%?) or "new features" (stuff the user sees?  stuff that
makes the program stronger?).

I think you should concentrate on whatever you think your program's
destinguishing feature is.  If it is strength of play (the only worthy
goal in my opinion), then concentrate on that.  If it is the teaching
of joseki, then concentrate on that, if it is some kind of fancy
interface to online game servers, concentrate on that.  I am
assumining you are going for strength of play.  So I would do anything
you think will help it's play.  Once you think you have something that
you think people will want to play against, you can give it a robust
UI, etc.
