[computer-go] Computer Go in European Go Congress

I can now confirm more details of the Computer Go Tournament to be held 
as part of the 2005 European Go Congress this August.

The European Go Congress Will be in Prague, Czechia, from July 23rd to 
August 6th.  Its web site is
http://www.goweb.cz/egc2005/default.asp?lang=en.  It does not yet give 
any details of the computer go, just the date;  I understand that 
details will be added next week.

The computer Go Tournament will be on Wednesday July 27th, which is a 
rest day from the main tournament.

It will be a five-round Swiss.  The rules will be Chinese.  The time 
limits will be one hour each, sudden death.

There will be cash prizes for the three highest-placed entrants.

You may bring you own computer, or use one provided by the organisers, 
with this specification:  Pentium III/550 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 4 GB HD, OS 
Win 2000.  (Note that 550MHz is slow by current standards.)
