Speaking for myself alone, I think that the tournament
director's decisions must be respected.  Another tournament
with another tournament director might have a different policy.

I am NOT saying one shouldn't try to change Nick's mind by
expressing one's own opinions. I also think discussing the
issue is potentially productive and should continue.

All I am saying is (perhaps just the obvious) that 
ultimately this decision is up to Nick and no one else,
and this is the way it has to be.

It appears that SlugGo can still compete at least occasionally,
so the problem is not as burning as it might be.
