SlugGo did not attend because of the difficulty of flying to Taiwan 
with a cluster of computers. The same problem will keep SlugGo out of 
the Gifu. The rules require that we be there, and do not allow for 
remote access to my clusters here at UC Santa Cruz.

The cluster I used to attend the Cotsen Open is a tangle of networking 
and power cables connecting 24 Mac minis. I fear that the 
Transportation Safety Admin will cause me too much grief if I attempt 
to take it on an international flight. I am considering building up a 
neater cluster of X-Serves for next year.
