Re: GO engine interface
[OK. I think I misunderstood your aim with the GO engine class.
My interpretation was that this was something for instance to keep
track of the rules, as in Jeffreys Referee class, and thus would not
be so sensitive to speed. I still think that is the level of sharing
we can hope to achieve. I for one will probably stick to my own driver
for tree-search, for instance. :) Sorry about the misinterpretations.]
Reasons for having a CO-ORDINATOR:
* A place to put the code.
* A common forum (webpage) where it is easy to follow the progress.
* Someone to perform changes to the code, and release new versions.
* A chat channel? As PJL pointed out, we are becoming too lengthy
in our responses to stay on this list.
* Some order in Chaos :)
[was it Darren who pointed to the Linux project? thanks :)]
Does anybody of you have any experience in this, like having a
website where this could be realized? [Wayne Zhang offered place
at USC, anyone else?]
