RE: computer-go: One suggestion
There is already an annual tournament in the USA, at the US Go
Congress. The last few years there has been a prize fund between
$500 and $2000.
As for running a tournament over the internet, how do you prevent
cheating? If you want to run an internet go tournament, just
use IGS. This is already how the computer go ladder works. If
you put your program on IGS or NNGS, it will quickly get a rank.
