   Not really. 

   Of course, if you had to choose only one OS, I agree it would probably
   be Windows.  But it's not necessary to choose only one.  GNU Go is
   developed mainly under Linux/Unix, but it can be run under Windows.

   Also, there's a relatively small but growing market for Linux, so
   I think it would be advantageous for Windows programmers to produce Linux
   versions also.  But I'm diverging...

But  realistically, you are not  likely to  make  much money selling a
linux GO program.

Since I  am not  considering a  commercial program,  I stay with Unix,
which in  my opinion is  superior.   But if I  wanted to  go into this
commercially, it would be truly foolish to ignore Windows.

I don't think Windows is  so horrible, it's just not  for me.  I don't
see any point in getting hung up over the OS.  If Linux didn't exist I
would probably be using Windows.
