On a more mundane level -
Computer Go programs are rarely praised by those who do not know how
difficult it is to program Go. However I have heard, "at least it knows
how to tenuki, it does not follow me around the board the way a weak
player would". It would be a pity to deprive a program of its one
advantage over a weak player.
