I see, thanks, this has not been clear to me since Japenese rules
are without any such option. So IIUYC now, then you say that
Japanese rules are simple because of not having any such option?

This is my personal preference in contrast to what I suggest
as a compromise.

You wonder why I do find it necessary? I made the mistake of
choosing a terrible wording for a basic ko rule several times.
It is something that is easily done and easily overlooked. If
one is careless in such matters, then one is confronted with
more problems than one has hoped for;)
