computer-go: Problems with posting to the list

Hi,

Yes, some people cannot post directly to the list from their domains.
I know, because I can't.
This is not a problem with the list itself.
Some domains are excluded because they relay spam.
Probably the sysadmin of the uoregon.edu domain has implemented a
blacklist of domains; this list probably includes netvigator.com (that's
the domain I usually post from), and many others.
This is a normal security procedure.
Solutions:
a) Use a Web email service to post to the list (I am doing that now). Or
b) Ask the sysadmin of the uoregon.edu domain to remove your domain from
the blacklist (unlikely, since this would affect **all** the mailing
   lists hosted at uoregon.edu). Or
c) Use an smtp server that is not blacklisted to send your mail.

The last solution is recommended.

Regards,

SMTP error from remote mailer after MAIL
   FROM:<pete@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:
   host lists.uoregon.edu [128.223.142.11]: 550 5.7.1 Access denied
