computer-go: Various Go engines
Hi,
I have just uploaded on ibiblio.org the following:
- Wallyplus, based on Wally. A simple Go engine with patterns matching.
- Amigoplus, based on AmiGo. More complex heuristics, but no patterns.
- Badukiplus, based on Baduki. More complex heuristics and more complex
pattern matching.
- Randyplus. Random move engine.
The four programs have version 0.1.2. All four play their moves in < 1
second. All four lose to GNU Go.:-)
All four engines can play vs. GNU Go or any other GTP-compliant engine,
against themselves or against each other. A Python script is included to
play engine-engine matches.
All four programs should be available either from /pub/Linux/Incoming
temporarily or from from pub/Linux/games/strategy once the ibiblio.org
automaintenance programs kick in (usually in < 48 hours).
Comments/suggestions welcome. My hat off to Bill Newman for the longevity
of his original wally.c.
Cheers,
