[computer-go] A potential use for neural networks in Go

Hi,

I have an idea for the use of neural networks in computer go. The stones
could be animated like people or maybe bugs, and when a stone is placed on
the board, the stone could get up and walk to the spot. Then when a group
is captured there could be a little battle. And the fighting tactics of
the bugs or soldiers could be goverened by an artificial neural network.
Of course the surronded group would have to die, but in the end their
would be a huge battle with the pieces of the of the player who won the
game slaughtering the others pieces. I am thinking animations similar to
warcraft if you have ever seen it would be fun.

I remember the fad in computer games for a while was that battle chess,
but it was boring watching the pieces move, because their movements were
so repetitive. I think a neural version would be much more interesting.

Sincerely,

Robin Kramer
