It would really be cool if there was a computer only server as someone
once suggested, although general servers like IGS are pretty cool too.

Instead  of putting  your computer  on the  server and  waiting  for a
challenge, the server constantly  assigns matches to whoever is logged
on.  No  nonsense about declining matches  and so on.   The server can
make fair decisions  so that really strong programs  don't play really
weak  ones too  often.   Perhaps the  server  sets up  the matches  by
forming tournaments, and when you log  your machine on you commit to 1
or more of the tournaments.
