RE: [computer-go] pipes under windows
THere is code for doing GMP over pipes on Windows in OpenGo written by David
Denholm: opengo.sourceforge.net ... You can do the same technique for GTP.
Contact me to point at that code directly...

Subject: [computer-go] pipes under windows
Magnus, you advertised for some documentation about pipes under Windows
to accompany the GTP docs, so that Windows programmers would not have to
spend ages on this. As I have never programmed under Windows, I am now
completely guessing on this.
Is http://dslweb.nwnexus.com/~ast/dload/guicon.htm what you would
have been looking for with regards to adding stdin/stdout to a GUI
program?
There seems to be lots of documentation about named pipes, such as
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnw98bk/htm
l/creatingnamedpipes.asp.
What else is necessary?
Thanks,
Arend
