Definitely NOT  off topic.  computer-go list, about  computers and go.
In order  to program go you  must use some kind  of computer language.
Every  programmer must  choose a  language to  use.  How  is  this off
topic?

I have discovered that no matter what you talk about, someone believes
it is off topic if it doens't happen to interest them personally.

It's  extremely  on topic  for  me,  because I  program  in  C and  am
constantly evaluating and reevaluating other languages for programming
GO.  If that's not topical, I don't know what is.
