I have almost finished rewriting SlugGo. It compiles and plays again as
of yesterday, but verification has not been done. The rewrite involves
different data structures and program structure intended to make future
development easier, but is supposed to give exactly the same results as
before. Once that verification is done I intend to modify the logic
somewhat to test out some ideas.
We should be able to answer the kind of questions you ask above not too
long after the first of the year.
