[computer-go] question on go terms

Hi,

Second game i played this year at 19x19 i had impression i did much better.

I get impression smart go very clever reduced score quite some points after
some blunders i made here and there at the end of the game and managed to
create a mutual threat. I guess i do not understand how to count points.
How is position counted by computer and why did it not lay a stone near the
end in the right down corner, isn't group in mutual threat then? 

I quickly layed down a stone there then to create 2 eyes was i correct in
doing so?
