I am. The working name of my program is KatanaGo.  For the record, I 
firmly believe search is necessary also, specifically hierarchical based 
search methods most interest me.  My objective is to get the search as 
deep as possible. If my code ever plays go, it will play well, otherwise 
it will be just lifelong hobby to tinker with.  I define well as on-par 
or better than current top programs.
