Gaulois is the name for the people that lived in France 2,000 years ago, 
like Asterix and Obelix.
The name is also close to Galois, a french mathematician very well known 
for his group theory.
And it is the concatenation of Go and Lois (Lois means Laws in French).

When I chose it, I did not think about the cigarettes.
