Re: [computer-go] Just for fun
My understanding is that computers can play computers, humans can
play computers, but that humans shouldn't play other humans. I doubt
there is any server code that prohibits humans from playing each other,
but that's not what the server is for.
So if the humans don't play other humans, they cannot get ratings
unless their ratings are based solely on their performance against
computers.
We could allow human/human games of course, but then there is no point
to having a special server for computers.

I agree. I've been meaning to link up to that server, but KGS has
been working so well for me, I just never have. The rating won't be
all based on computer-computer. There can still be human games,
right? But the server will only be known to computer-go programmers.
