Re: [computer-go] Gtp Protocol Commands
For the opponent info commands, I'd be happy to do these if soon as GTP
adds them as standard commands. I'd prefer to only add commands when
really needed for playing on KGS.
If you want a database of SGF format games, with PB/PW filled in, right
now of course you can always go to the KGS archives as Christian
mentioned, but that is hard to automate. It would be very easy for me to
have an option in kgsGtp to automatically dump all games in SGF format
to a directory somewhere as soon as they are over. Would that be just as
good as adding these commands? The only drawback I see is that if your
engine wants to add its own annotations to the SGF as it is written,
then this won't help.
