Assuming the issue is the one that Mark Boon identified, surely the concern would be addressed if GNU Go agreed to sit out one tournament so SlugGo could play. Is this correct, Nick?
It puts the GNU Go team in an unenviable position. Maybe they want to enter GNU Go, but they agree to step back in favour of SlugGo. Next tournament, they get a similar request from GoFigure, or from daftbot. This is difficult, as I have said. I wish there were a painless answer.
