Re: [computer-go] 6th KGS computer Go tournament

I have not entered SlugGo in any of the 9x9 tournaments because there
are 3 important parameters in SlugGo that are a function of move number,
and I don't know what to set them for on a 9x9 board. It would take me
a month or so of trial and error fiddling to get them close, so I have not
done it. I don't think that 28 minutes would present much of a problem
for SlugGo for that small of a board ... but I never have tried 9x9 for the
reason stated above. I will put that on our to-do list, but it is not one of the
highest priorities just yet.

Cheers,
David

Hi Nick,

It would be nice if you threw in a longer time control tournament. This
would give Sluggo a chance to compete at full strength and I could enter a
version of Botnoid, that plays stronger but needs more time.

Something like 28 minutes per game for the 9x9? I would like even longer,
but that might be pushing it for most people.

decided on the time limits, and welcome your advice.
