Re: [computer-go] Protocol B
is there such a thing as a provably correct routine
to evaluate end-of-game scoring for chinese rules
that finishes in linear time under a given set
of circumstances? is it reasonable to expect
programs to finish their games inside these
circumstances?
if so, then everyone could agree to play until these
circumstances have been reached in any computer<->
computer played game.
one suggestion is 1-point eyes + sekis. is there a
more permissive situation that is easy to verify as
"finished" in a systematic (and linear time) way?
