OpenGo v0.02 Released!

Hello all,

    I've updated the OpenGo to version 0.02.  I've also provided the
compiled version (for Windows) along with the source code.  The zip file
is smaller: about 1meg.

    I've made many changes, fixes, and improvements -- over 200
changes.  These are noted on the Release Notes webpage.  OpenGo should
be much more workable now.  Try the compiled version to see.  This
version should really help get you off the ground.

PS:
    A few things:
        Please let me know if the webpages are giving you trouble: I
might have missed something.
        I'd also like verification of compiling on the VC6 compiler.
        I'm going to get the console version working under linux ... I
will need some help testing it.  BTW, in this version, the console
version is totally broken, even under windows.
        The compiled code is tested under Windows 4.0 sp3.  Please
confirm Windows95 efficacy.
        Wally seems to only play properly with simple ko and with
suicide permitted.  In all other rule sets, especially when playing
white, it will screw up.  I handle this by having it resign or complain
that the other side has done something wrong.  Is this what other users
of wally seem to see?  Unless I've broken it, I'm going to leave it
alone.  Perhaps a better, simple opponent can be offered by someone,
perhaps built on the 'Larson Rules'.  Though wally is standard so far as
research reports go.
